Hi, I'm Amy.
Nice to meet you! Here's a little bit about me, if you like to read.
I grew up in a small town in upstate New York, surrounded by woods and old barns (two of my favorite things.) I love being creative and
I bring my camera wherever I go. I was 12 when I received my first digital camera for my birthday, with a very basic (very sad) photo-editing program that came included. The scenery around me became my favorite subject, and I haven't lived without photography since.
I'm a devoted traveler and love to explore, even if it's just in my own backyard. I think everyday is an opportunity to express yourself, create art, and capture something beautiful.
My photography and graphic design career began at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in the Finger Lakes Region, and from there brought me to Utica, New York. After two years at my first company,
I packed my bags and a U-haul truck and headed for California to further pursue my dreams. I found myself living 20 minutes south of San Francisco, and I was in love. The west coast is a dream.
I was a graphic designer in the San Francisco area for about 5 years, and in 2019 returned to my east coast home - this time, Portland, Maine! The coast has always been my inspiration, whether
it's the Pacific or the Atlantic, and I enjoy continuing my artistic ventures in this beautiful state I now call home.
